Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a first-person shooter video game developed by Raven Software and Treyarch, and published by Activision. It was released on November 13, 2020, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
The game is the seventeenth installment in the Call of Duty series and the direct sequel to 2018’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The game is set during the Cold War in the early 1980s and follows the story of CIA operative Russell Adler as he investigates a Soviet plot to subvert the United States government. The game features a single-player campaign, a cooperative multiplayer mode, and a competitive multiplayer mode.
